Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson appeared on "The Pat McAfee Show" on Monday and gave a strong message of support for his head coach, Kevin O'Connell.Jefferson said O'Connell is a great coach to play for and he hopes to wear the soccer shirt and win a Super Bowl with him.
O'Connell cashed in on the Darnold insurance policy as they both led the Vikings to 14 wins, second best in the NFC to the Detroit Lions and tied with the eventual Super Bowl winner, the Philadelphia Eagles.
During the 2024 season, the owner of the No.18 Minnesota Vikings football jersey Jefferson caught 103 passes for 1,503 yards and 10 touchdowns. Saints signing Chase Young to $51M deal
11. 3. 2025
Per NFL Network, New Orleans is re-signing Young to a three-year contract worth $51 million that could escalate to $57 million.Young gets the long-term deal after playing on a one-year, $13 million contract for the Saints in 2024.
Washington drafted Young in 2020 out of Ohio State as a difference-making pass rusher. As the No.99 New Orleans Saints football jersey's owner, Young initially flashed that upside with a Rookie of the Year campaign that featured 7.5 sacks. He's failed to exceed that sack total in four seasons since.
Washington then traded Young midway through his fourth NFL season to the San Francisco 49ers. Young weared the NFL jerseys and responded with 5.5 sacks and 31 tackles, numbers that failed to jump off the page. But he got consistent pressure on opposing quarterbacks and produced a career-high 21 quarterback hits and 34 combined quarterback pressures. That impact on opposing backfields compelled the Saints to sign Young to a long-term deal at 25 years old.
Eagles' Lane Johnson agrees to one-year extension
18. 3. 2025
The Super Bowl LIX champion Philadelphia Eagles continue to reward their own this offseason. On Monday, they re-upped with their six-time Pro Bowl right tackle Lane Johnson.
The owner of No.65 Philadelphia Eagles football jersey,Johnson, who earned both a Pro Bowl selection and second-team All-Pro nod at the age of 34 in 2024, redid his contract with Philadelphia to tack on an extra $8 million across 2025 and 2026 as well as an extra $30 million in guarantees, per ESPN. Johnson now stands to receive $48 million across 2025 and 2026.
Johnson weared the NFL jerseys and played high-level football in 2024, not allowing a sack in addition to just giving up one quarterback hit and six quarterback pressures. Even more impressive about those numbers was his 75% island rate, which led the NFL. Blocking for the 2024 NFL rushing champion and Offensive Player of the Year in Barkley also certainly helped Johnson's contract negotiations.
Can a healthy Hollywood Brown make an impact in 2025?
25. 3. 2025
The Chiefs acquired Brown last year along with rookie Xavier Worthy in the hope the two fast receivers could bring the big play back to the passing game. The two were to join Rashee Rice to give the Chiefs what they believed would be their deepest group of wideouts in years. The three were never on the field at the same time.
Brown weared the No.5 Kansas City Chiefs football jersey and played in just two regular-season games, catching nine passes for 91 yards. He also played in all three Chiefs postseason games, getting five receptions for 50 yards. The Chiefs still saw enough from Brown to make his re-signing a priority before he was able to get on the free agent market. The Chiefs re-signed Brown to give the group of three receivers another try this year.
Brown is the one who is unproven, at least in one of their NFL jerseys. But the Chiefs made no secret before Brown was re-signed that they wanted him back.
