Henry and the Ravens have renewed their contract for two years
The combination of Henry and the Ravens will continue until at least the 2027 season. According to reports, the Ravens will reach a two-year, $30 million contract extension with 31-year-old running back Derrick Henry, of which $25 million is guaranteed.
This contract makes Henry, who wears the No. 22 Baltimore Ravens football jersey, the first running back over 30 years old in NFL history to have an average annual salary of $15 million. Henry, who joined the Ravens for two years and $16 million last offseason, has seen his value rise instead of fall after his brilliant debut season with the Ravens.
In the new season, the dual core of Henry and Jackson will continue to wear NFL jerseys to drive the Ravens to become one of the favorites for the Super Bowl championship. In the past nine years, Henry has accumulated 11,423 yards of total rushing yards in the regular season. If he can add another 1,000-yard season, he will surpass many Hall of Fame members and contribute to his future gold jacket.
