The past few years haven't exactly been smooth sailing for Bengals star Joe Burrow; whenever the team struggled, he would often issue carefully considered statements with clear intent. This offseason, however, Burrow has exuded considerable optimism.

Just recently, the man in the No. 9 Cincinnati Bengals football jersey went so far as to compare the current team directly to the 2019 LSU squad in an interview. This isn't just empty, blind optimism; Burrow has fully regained his health this offseason, and most of his offensive teammates have returned to the roster.

At the same time, the Bengals face the easiest regular-season schedule in the AFC North this year. These positive factors have restored a confidence in Joe Burrow that had been missing for some time. We can certainly expect to see the brilliant Joe Burrow—and his Bengals—wearing the NFL jerseys and performing at a high level this season.
