Seattle Seahawks extend Charles Cross's contract for over $100 million
Following their recent victory over the 49ers to secure the NFC's top seed, the Seattle Seahawks officially announced a massive four-year, $104.4 million contract with their starting left tackle, Charles Cross. The new contract will take effect starting in the 2027 season.
At $26.1 million per year, this is the highest-paid non-quarterback contract in Seahawks history. Furthermore, Cross, wearing the number 67 NFL jerseys, will surpass Vikings left tackle Christian D'Alissao's $26 million per year to become the fifth-highest-paid offensive tackle in the league.
The 25-year-old Cross, selected 9th overall in the first round of the 2022 NBA draft, has been a key player since wearing the Seattle Seahawks football jersey. In 68 regular-season games over four seasons, Cross has started 62, making him a crucial part of the team's offensive line.
