5-time Pro Bowl star bids farewell to the NFL!
Recently, a veteran who has weared the NFL jerseys and played in the league for more than 10 years chose to bid farewell to the court. The 33-year-old left tackle Tyron Armstead, who once played for the Saints and Dolphins, officially announced his retirement.
In his 12-year career, Armstead started 131 regular season games, was selected to the Pro Bowl 5 times, and was selected to the second team of the league's best team once. After playing for the Saints for 9 seasons, Armstead signed a transfer and put on the Miami Dolphins football jersey, and was selected to the Pro Bowl for two consecutive years. Last season, Armstead played the fourth PFF score of 89.4 for the league's offensive tackles.
But injuries have always been an indelible shadow in Armstead's career. In his 12 seasons of career, he has never played a full year. Now the priority is that the Dolphins must find a left tackle who can provide strong protection.
