The defending champions have traded again
The defending champions recently traded defensive tackle Thomas Booker for cornerback Jakrian Bennett.
A fourth-round pick in 2023, Bennett has weared the NFL jerseys and appeared in 24 games for the Raiders, starting 11 of them, and has accumulated 58 tackles and 11 pass breakups. He will join the Eagles' talented defensive secondary alongside Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper Durkin.
The other player in the trade, Booker, a fifth-round pick in 2022, weared the Philadelphia Eagles football jersey and played all 17 games last season, recording 18 tackles and one sack. For the Raiders, acquiring Booker, a veteran, will help fill the gaping hole left on the defensive front after the team waived Christian Wilkins.
