Barkley is selected as the cover star of "Madden 26" game!
3. 6. 2025
Recently, the football game "Madden NFL 26" officially announced the cover star: the new Super Bowl champion Eagles' running back, Saquon Barkley, wearing the No. 26 NFL jerseys. He will appear on the game cover with his iconic reverse hurdle action created last season.
Barkley shot two versions of the cover for the game. Among them, the standard version of the game cover is Barkley wearing a retro green Philadelphia Eagles football jersey and soaring into the air, reproducing the classic moment. In the other deluxe version of the cover, he wears the dark green jersey that won the Super Bowl, showing the king's posture.
This is the second consecutive year that a running back has appeared on the cover of Madden after 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey last season. Barkley also became a member of the "Madden 99 Club", marking the NFL's reaffirmation of the status of top running backs.
The former top running back finally got a new job

Former Cleveland Browns star running back Nick Chubb finally has a new home. According to reports, the former league's first-line running back, who was dragged down by injuries, will wear the Houston Texans football jersey. The deal only needs Chubb to pass the physical examination to be finalized.
As a second-round pick in 2018, Chubb spent the first seven seasons of his NFL career with the Browns. It is revealed that the Browns had contacted Chubb before the NFL draft in April this year, but the two sides failed to reach an agreement on the contract, and Chubb missed the opportunity to return to his old club.
During his time with the Browns, Chubb, who was wearing a NFL jerseys, ranked third in the team's history in both regular season rushing yards and touchdowns. For the 29-year-old Chubb, this may be his last chance to reverse his career decline. I hope this famous player can regain some of his peak shadows.

The second pick of the Jaguars, Hunter, signed his rookie contract with the team. This fully guaranteed contract is worth $46.65 million, of which a signing bonus of $30.57 million will be paid immediately.
Hunter, who will wear the Jacksonville Jaguars football jersey, became the first rookie player in NFL history who was neither a quarterback nor the No. 1 pick, but was able to take a signing bonus at one time. He is the third to last player to sign a rookie contract this year, and the last top ten rookie to sign this year.
Of the 32 first-round picks, only Shemar Stewart, the No. 17 NFL jerseys pick, and Jahad Baron, the No. 20 pick of the Broncos, have not signed. But Baron is different from Stewart. Like Hunter before signing, he has no obvious conflicts with the team, has been training with the team, and has left a deep impression on the coaching staff.
